About this Speaker
Cindy Cutrera has been employed by the Port of Morgan City as Economic Development Manager since August of 2008. Prior to that, Cindy served as Executive Director for the St. Mary Industrial Group from 2006 to 2008, after a 22-year career in banking.
Cindy is involved in her community as well as on regional, state, and national levels. She has served as a member of the Morgan City Planning and Zoning Commission, the South Central Louisiana Technical College-Morgan City, Young Memorial Campus Advisory Council; the Regional EDO Committee for South Louisiana Economic Council and the St. Mary Parish Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Cindy is a member of the Louisiana Industrial Development Executives Association, and she currently serves as IRPT Chairwoman of the Board.
Cindy completed a three-year course of instruction in Community Development at the University of Central Arkansas in 2011. In 2012, she completed all academic requirements and received the Certified Louisiana Economic Developer designation and has continued to meet all recertification requirements. In April 2021 Cindy completed course requirements for the Inland Maritime Port Executive designation from the International Association of Maritime & Port Executives.
Cindy and her husband Chip have three grown daughters who have blessed them with eight grandchildren.
