About this Speaker
Evan Boudreaux is the current Director of Economic Development for St. Mary Parish located in South Louisiana. Evan has held positions in both the public and private sectors, with experience working directly within or around the state and federal levels. Directly prior to his appointment as Director of Economic Development, he served as the Political Director and Deputy Chief of Staff for Louisiana’s Senior U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy. Evan’s experience working at the federal level also includes serving as a policy advisor on the staff of former Congressman Charles Boustany as well as working for the Louisiana-based government relations firm, The Picard Group.
Boudreaux graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, earning a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He is currently completing his Masters in Public Administration at Tulane University. He is a current member of the705 Young Professionals Organization serving as the Chair of the Civic Engagement Committee, a graduate of Leadership Lafayette Class XXXII (2019), a member of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s Alumni Council as vice-chair of the Government Affairs Committee, a Board Member of the I-49S Coalition, as well as on the Board of Directors for OneAcadiana, the regional Economic Development Organization that covers 9 parishes. Boudreaux previously served on boards for CODOFIL’s fundraising arm Franco-Fete and Cross Catholic Outreach’s Village of Hope Gala.
